Technology as a Strategic Lever for your Business

6 PDP Credits – 3/4 day

As a tool, technology has the ability to enhance both the REALTOR®'s business and his or her relationship with clients. In a technology landscape, where technology is now essential in virtually every business, its easy to be overwhelmed by the sheer amount of technology out there (how to choose?), by how fast it changes (how to keep up?) and by the need to master each new device or application quickly.

This course is strategic and will explore the connection between the services REALTORS® provide, and the clients they work with to select the right tool for the right job. Its about how to use technology to improve business practice, preferably by connecting the major elements of a real estate business plan to a technology action plan. Please note that this is not a hands-on training course for any particular piece of hardware or software.

By the end of this course, the learner will be able to:

  • analyze the impact technology can have on your business;
  • develop ways to ensure that the impact is positive; and
  • systematically and proactively incorporate the right technology into your business plan so you can leverage technology to:
    • work better with your clients
    • save time and energy
    • ensure a good return on your investment.
