The Finance and Audit Committee helps the Board of Directors carry out its duties and oversight responsibilities regarding financial planning and reporting, budget preparation, audits, accounting systems, internal controls, and risk management.
The Governance Committee develops and recommends BCREA’s approach to good governance and governance structure. It also evaluates the effectiveness of the Board of Directors and individual directors.
Members of the Board of Directors offer advice on various governance matters such as strategic goals, finances, BCREA’s business and activities, and potential risks, ensuring a plan for future leadership.
The Human Resources Committee helps the Board of Directors meet its responsibilities concerning the CEO’s goals and evaluation, compensation, and planning for the future. It also works on BCREA’s compensation philosophy and significant human resource policies.
The Nominating Committee oversees the nomination and appointment of directors.
